Shockwave therapy costs an additional £25 when added to a follow-up appointment.
30-minute follow-up: £42 + £25 = £67 total
45-minute follow-up: £52.50 + £25 = £77.50 total
60-minute follow-up or initial appointment: £63 + £25 = £88.00
We will discuss whether shockwave therapy is appropriate for you before adding it to your appointment.
What is Shockwave Therapy?
Shockwave therapy uses a specialist device to deliver targeted pressure waves through the skin and into the affected tissue. These pulses stimulate blood flow, encourage tissue repair, and break down the changes in tissue that keep pain going, all without injections, medication, or surgery.
It's one of the most well-researched physical therapies available for stubborn musculoskeletal conditions where conservative treatment hasn't been enough.

Shockwave as part of a complete therapy plan
Shockwave therapy is available for an additional £25 on top of your normal follow-up appointment fee. It isn't an isolated procedure. It's incorporated within your regular appointment, so you still receive the same thorough assessment, hands-on treatment, exercise prescription, and advice you'd expect from any session with shockwave therapy added in where it's clinically appropriate.
Research shows that shockwave therapy combined with a targeted exercise programme, whether that's specific stretching, loading exercises or both, produces better results than either treatment alone.
